Crash into Love

            Brooklyn was once a happy and confident girl, who thought she had everything figured out. Brooklyn was so pleased with her life, until she decided to go to a party without her boyfriend, Dallas. Brooklyn and Dallas have been together for almost 8 months and have had a great relationship, up until these past couple of weeks. Dallas is not the kind of guy to talk about how he feels, but he always shows it in his actions that he loves Brooklyn. Brooklyn loves Dallas but for some reason she just can’t get Jacob out of her mind. Jacob is dating Annie and they’ve been together for almost 6 months. Jacob loves Annie but he is realizing how he truly feels for Brooklyn. Dallas was out of town for the weekend so Brooklyn decided to go to that party with her best friend, Jacob. Both Jacob and Brooklyn were in a relationship, so they both thought that going together would be completely harmless.

            Jacob told Brooklyn that he would pick her up the night of the party around 7. About 5 minutes after 7 Jacob pulled up her driveway and honked the horn, “Hurry up loser! We’re late!", Jacob yelled out to Brooklyn. “Have some patience Jacob," Brooklyn replied, she got in the car, turns up the stereo, and off they went. After arriving at the party, both Brooklyn and Jacob went to find some of their friends. Near the end of the night, Jacob started acting differently towards Brooklyn. Both of them had been drinking all night and started to really get “close” to one another. At the end of the night Brooklyn got in her car and started driving home. Jacob didn't like that she had left alone so he decided to follow her. On her way home Brooklyn got into a car accident.

            The next morning, Brooklyn and Jacob woke up together in the hospital. Neither of them really remember what happened the night before, but they both knew they made a mistake. Jacob was unsure what to think about the situation. All he remembers is kissing Brooklyn then, later on, he remembered saving Brooklyn from the crash.

“Hey Brooklyn...um could you tell me what happened between us?” he asked.

Brooklyn sat up, “I really don’t know” she replied.

 “We will just have to figure it out together". Jacob said, as he held her hand.

“I hope so. Annie and Dallas can’t know” Brooklyn explained with tears in her eyes.

            Not only did Jacob save Brooklyn that night, but before the crash he cheated on Annie with Brooklyn.
     
          Brooklyn and Jacob didn’t mean to cheat, but they both had strong feelings for one another for almost their whole friendship, which has been almost a year. Neither of them want to end their relationships, but both want to be together. Brooklyn used to think of Jacob as the brother she never had, she never thought she would have these kinds of feelings for him. “Now it all makes sense” she thought to herself, “I never understood why he meant so much to me and why he was always my number one”.

Brooklyn takes a deep breath and finally talks to Jacob. “Jacob, can I ask you something?”

“Of course. You know you can talk to me about anything”

“What happened last night? Why do I feel as if you’re the one I want to be with?”

            Jacob didn’t know how to answer her questions. He was just as confused as she was.

            Brooklyn and Jacob spent the weeks after the party hanging out. They both wanted to figure out what was really going on between them.

            Jacob and Annie were in the middle of another one of their “rough patches” and weren’t speaking to each other. Brooklyn knew about everything that was going on between Jacob and Annie, but she didn’t know how to help him. Part of Brooklyn wanted Jacob and Annie to break up but the other part of her knew Jacob wouldn’t be happy without Annie.

            Almost a month after the accident, Brooklyn and Dallas broke up. Jacob hung out with Brooklyn everyday to help her with the break up. After two weeks of seeing each other every day, Jacob finally realized he wanted to be with Brooklyn, not Annie. Annie refused to let Jacob break up with her. Annie always wanted to be in control of the relationship and Jacob. Jacob tried ending the relationship nicely but Annie kept saying no. She was like a child being asked to put away her toys; she just wouldn’t let it happen.

            Finally, Jacob decided he had enough and didn’t let Annie have a say in what he did. Jacob completely broke off the relationship and was happier than ever. Brooklyn was confused because she thought Jacob would never be happy without Annie. Brooklyn was happy for him. After Jacob and Annie broke up, Jacob and Brooklyn kept hanging out and were still trying to figure out what they were going to do, until one night when Jacob showed up at Brooklyn’s house without telling her.

            Jacob honked the horn like he usually does, and waits for Brooklyn to come out. She got in Jacob's car and asked him what he was doing at her house.

“I need to tell you something “ he told her with a huge smile on his face.”After the crash I realized that I’ve always wanted to be with you and now I can finally say that I want you to be mine and that....I love you Brooklyn.”

            Brooklyn didn’t know what to say at first, and then she finally was able to talk and tell him how she feels. Brooklyn told Jacob she loved him and wanted to be with him but she didn’t know how to “make it official”. Jacob saw that Brooklyn was happy, he was too. Both Brooklyn and Jacob decided to be together and make it work. Neither of them ever thought they would end up with each other in the end.

DIrtbiking

    Dirt biking is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I've been riding since I was 6, its always been a part of my family. Dirt biking may not seem like it takes a lot of skill but I honestly think it takes quite a lot. The rider has to be able to stay balanced and be able to work your body hands and brain together. For example if you want to turn left your arms have to turn and your body has to  lean. Dirt biking is a huge part of my life, both my parents love to ride so I learned to love it. I'm not an extremely experienced rider, I don't do competitions but I enjoy just riding trails. I LOVE IT!!

Characterization

     Deeks is a really interesting character from of the TV show "NCIS Los Angeles". Deeks is a very creative outgoing man. He always try's to see the best in things and is a very positive person. Deeks also has an "interest" in his partner Kensi which makes him seem very vulnerable and sensitive. He is a very laid back character and isn't very serious when it comes to work. In my opinion he is stubborn and funny. I think this because every time they have a case he just isn't as serious as everyone else but still always gets the job done. Overall Deeks is a caring, genuine, fun character.
